BAHRAIN – Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC) has officially launched a dedicated sub-brand, ‘Marina Walk,’ to define the commercial heart of its landmark waterfront project.
The new identity will govern the integrated management of all retail, dining, and leisure components at the emerging destination in Manama.

It includes an indoor shopping mall, expansive outdoor retail promenades, a diverse array of cafés and restaurants, and premium waterfront dining establishments overlooking the marina.
This cohesive branding strategy is designed to unify these elements into a single, recognizable destination, promising a vibrant urban experience that blends shopping, leisure, and distinctive culinary pursuits in the capital’s core.
Strategic Milestone in Development
Company leadership heralded the launch as a pivotal strategic step. Mr. Reyadh Yousif Sater, Chairman of the Board of BMDC, stated that Marina Walk reflects their vision to create integrated destinations that elevate quality of life and add substantial value to Bahrain’s commercial and leisure landscape.
He described it as an extension of the overarching vision for Bahrain Marina: to develop a fully integrated waterfront destination combining vibrant placemaking, quality design, and a diverse experiential range that meets market aspirations.

Engineer Hisham Almoayyed, Acting Chief Executive Officer of BMDC, emphasized that the sub-brand launch aligns with the phased delivery of the project’s various components.

Almoayyed noted that the focus has been on curating a balanced mix of retail, dining, and café options that fully leverage the unique waterfront setting.
He stated that Marina Walk would strengthen Bahrain Marina’s position as a leading destination for shopping, leisure, and dining, calling it a qualitative addition to the nation’s offerings.
