Radisson, Amadeus launch AI-Powered API to modernize hotel distribution

The new API connection updates instantly with Radisson’s system, ensuring travel sellers worldwide access live rates, room types, and availability without delays or manual reconciliation.

GLOBAL – Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with travel technology giant Amadeus to launch a direct API connectivity that modernizes hotel distribution across its international portfolio.

At the heart of the collaboration is a direct connection between Radisson’s EMMA Central Reservation System (CRS) and the Amadeus Travel Platform.

The integration moves beyond traditional Global Distribution System (GDS) models, replacing legacy protocols with a real-time, API-driven framework designed for speed, precision, and scalability.

The new API connection updates instantly with Radisson’s system, ensuring travel sellers worldwide access live rates, room types, and availability without delays or manual reconciliation. This will streamline operations and enhance real-time booking accuracy.

Innovation plays a central role in the upgrade. The solution incorporates AI-driven data mapping in the backend, automatically aligning data fields between the two systems.

This reduces manual tracking, minimizes errors, and improves the relevance of search results and operational improvement that directly impacts conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

Mirja Sickel, EVP Hospitality Distribution at Amadeus, described the launch as transformative: “The API connectivity with Radisson Hotel Group is a milestone in our mission to transform how the industry approaches distribution. We have enhanced our connectivity by leveraging AI to map the data-fields between the two systems, which ensures consistency and reduces manual tracking.”

We know that having the capability to share changes in rates and availability instantly to travel sellers around the world is essential for hoteliers in today’s market. That’s why we’ve built a flexible, reusable connection through the Amadeus Travel Platform that can be adopted by other hotel chains to help hotels stand out from the crowd,” concluded Mr. Mirja.

At Radisson Hotel Group, we champion innovation and are proud to be part of the next era of hotel distribution with Amadeus,” said Richard Biggs, Global Head RevGen EMMA CRS & Channels, Radisson Hotel Group.

This direct connection will enable us to continuously modernize and leverage the latest technologies to meet the needs of our customers.”

By prioritizing automation, AI integration, and seamless connectivity, Radisson is setting the pace for a more agile, data-driven hospitality ecosystem.
