Kerten Hospitality expands regional footprint with new Moroccan resort, residences

The Casadora Resort introduces a contemporary hospitality model that combines a lifestyle hotel with 140 branded riads and an innovative offer of 60 additional riads under a fractional ownership model.

MOROCCO – Kerten Hospitality has launched a new resort and branded residences project in El Jadida, Morocco, significantly expanding its footprint with the Casadora Resort by Cloud 7 Hotels.

The project comprises 156 hotel rooms and 200 riad-style residences, reinforcing the group’s strategy of creating integrated, community-centric destinations across key markets.

A Blueprint for Integrated Coastal Luxury

The Casadora Resort introduces a contemporary hospitality model that combines a lifestyle hotel with 140 branded riads and an innovative offer of 60 additional riads under a fractional ownership model.

This approach mirrors Kerten’s established blueprint for success, recently demonstrated with the launch of the Cloud 7 Al Murjan Island Resort in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Like the Saudi project, which features 74 pioneering overwater chalets, the El Jadida development is designed as a self-contained ecosystem.

It is set to include comprehensive wellness and spa facilities, dedicated kids’ clubs, creative communal spaces, and a strong emphasis on experiential offerings such as an organic garden supporting a farm-to-table philosophy.

Strategic Synergy Across MEA Markets

This Moroccan venture is a strategic extension of Kerten Hospitality’s proven formula in the Middle East.

The company’s recent project in Dammam’s Eastern Province, developed in partnership with Koushan Real Estate Development, set a new standard for coastal luxury with unique amenities like the Nyssa Beach women-only beach club.

Similarly, the El Jadida project aims to elevate its local seaside destination by catering to the growing demand for experiential travel and year-round living.

Marloes Knippenberg, CEO of Kerten Hospitality, emphasized that such developments are aligned with purposeful destination development, a principle central to their Saudi projects which support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Cementing a Regional Hospitality Narrative

Kerten Hospitality currently operates 11 properties with a robust pipeline across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

The parallel development of high-profile projects in Saudi Arabia and Morocco underscores the group’s commitment to being a vital player in the region’s evolving tourism landscape.

By applying a consistent ethos of blending luxury with authentic community roots and cultural identity, Kerten is not just building properties but is actively shaping the luxury coastal scene from the Arabian Gulf to the Atlantic coast of North Africa.

The Casadora Resort by Cloud 7 Hotels thus represents a key chapter in the group’s expanding narrative of creating empowered, culturally resonant destinations.
