GLOBAL – Rotana, a leading hotel management group across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, has announced the launch of Rotana DISCOVERY on 1 December 2025.
This new loyalty programme integrates into the award-winning Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) DISCOVERY platform, marking the evolution of its previous Rotana Rewards Select initiative.
By joining GHA DISCOVERY, Rotana’s members gain access to nearly 950 hotels in 100 countries and become part of a global community exceeding 32 million travelers.
This move reflects Rotana’s commitment to expanding its international footprint while delivering its brand promise of Treasured Time with enhanced rewards and privileges.
Philip Barnes, Rotana’s CEO, highlighted the programme’s focus on fostering deep connections through personalized experiences and global reach.
He emphasized that the partnership amplifies Rotana’s reputation as a trusted hospitality leader with genuine care and consistent service standards.
Chris Hartley, CEO of Global Hotel Alliance, praised the collaboration, stating it exemplifies how independent hotel brands can scale globally while maintaining unique identities and exceptional guest experiences.
Rotana DISCOVERY members will benefit from earning and redeeming DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) globally, complimentary room upgrades, flexible check-in/out times, and locally curated experiences.
Existing members will transition automatically, retaining their earned statuses and benefits. Rotana will continue to operate Rotana Rewards Exclusive and Classic programmes for corporates and long stays.
Rotana manages over 120 properties with six unique brands, including Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Centro Hotels, and Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts.
This loyalty initiative aligns with Rotana’s growth plans across key markets, emphasizing innovation and connectivity to enhance guest value.
The company has rolled out Connected Safety Net (CSN), a next-generation platform across its portfolio for unified digital management. This system handles food safety, maintenance, audits, and reception standards seamlessly.
In April 2025, Rotana adopted Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud for 79 hotels worldwide.
The cloud solution standardizes data, streamlines check-ins, housekeeping, and personalization using guest preferences.
Thirty properties already use OPERA Cloud, with full rollout by 2026. Mobile capabilities allow staff flexibility, integrating with Oracle’s platform for third-party apps.
AI-powered tools and mobile-first platforms provide data insights for revenue decisions. These investments support Rotana’s scalability amid regional expansion.
Sustainability features in CSN reduce paper use and track compliance. Rotana’s tech strategy ensures consistent “Treasured Time” experiences globally.
