Horizon Egypt’s US$881M New Cairo hotel project enhances urban development vision

EGYPT – Horizon Egypt Developments has signed a landmark EGP 42 billion (US$881 million) commercial hotel project agreement in New Cairo with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

This 28-acre initiative aligns with Egypt Vision 2030, enhancing tourism and real estate sectors.

The land allocation deal, valued at EGP 15 billion (US$314.8 million), supports state efforts to attract premium investments.

Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny directed the project to foster high-yield partnerships and optimize resource use.

Ahmed Ali Mohamed Hassan, NUCA’s Deputy Head for Real Estate, emphasized New Cairo’s rising appeal for hospitality investments.

The development promises job creation and sustainable urban growth in the Fifth Settlement area.

Majid bin Saeed bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Horizon’s Chairman, linked the project to Egypt’s modern city ambitions. It delivers financial sustainability, tourism promotion, and regional competitiveness.
