Minor Hotels reveals exciting lineup of new, redesigned properties across MEA in 2026

MEA – Minor Hotels has an impressive portfolio of new openings and renovated properties planned for 2026 across the Middle East and Africa.

This extensive pipeline reflects the company’s strategic focus on regional growth and luxury experiences.

The debut of Tivoli and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Resorts in Bahrain marks a significant milestone for the group’s expansion in the Kingdom.

In Dubai, the Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel is set to reopen in Q1 2026 following a complete redesign of its 252 rooms and suites.

The upgrade introduces contemporary décor, expansive rooms, and elegant suites with private pools and balconies.

Its central location makes it perfect for business travelers and city explorers. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Ziya, promises stylish brunches and international cuisine in a vibrant setting, adding to Dubai’s dynamic hospitality scene.

In Oman, Tivoli La Vie Muscat is scheduled to open its doors in Q2 2026, debuting as the group’s first Tivoli property in the country.

The hotel will feature 79 refined rooms and 100 fully serviced residences inspired by Oman’s rich culture.

Guests can enjoy gourmet dining at the rooftop SEEN restaurant, relax at the Anantara Spa, and unwind by the rooftop pool. Versatile event spaces will cater to corporate and social gatherings, enhancing Muscat’s luxury offerings.

Bahrain will see the launch of two new resorts: the Tivoli and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer resorts, opening in Q4 2026.

The Tivoli will offer 100 rooms blending Arabian heritage with modern elegance, while Avani will feature 110 rooms focused on comfort and connectivity.

Both resorts will boast direct beach access, wellness amenities, vibrant restaurants, and family-friendly spaces, marking Minor Hotels’ debut in Bahrain’s competitive market.

Additionally, in Zambia, the company plans to unveil its first tented camp in Kafue National Park in Q2 2026.

This eco-luxury camp will blend authenticity with contemporary design, featuring ten villas including a Presidential Villa. The camp’s curated game drives and river safaris aim to provide immersive wildlife experiences in Zambia’s most expansive reserve.
