FlySafair announces three new domestic routes to enhance South Africa connectivity starting November 2025

From November 1, 2025, the airline will introduce direct services from Lanseria International Airport, operating six weekly flights to King Phalo Airport in East London and daily flights to Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha.

SOUTH AFRICA – FlySafair has announced three new domestic routes as part of its expanding network across South Africa, set to begin later this year.

Starting November 1, 2025, the airline will launch direct flights from Lanseria International Airport to King Phalo Airport in East London six times weekly, as well as daily flights to Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha.

In addition, FlySafair will commence operations from Cape Town to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport on October 2, 2025, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The new routes will offer fares starting from R770, providing affordable travel options for a variety of passengers.

This expansion significantly enhances connectivity to popular holiday and business destinations ahead of the summer travel season.

The new service from Cape Town to Hoedspruit improves access to the central Kruger region and nearby private game reserves, appealing to both leisure travelers and tourists seeking game experiences.

The addition of frequent services from Lanseria allows greater access for travelers in Gauteng, connecting them efficiently to key cities on South Africa’s coast.

Furthermore, the increased flight frequency on the Cape Town–Mbombela route to daily operations reflects strong passenger demand for links to the Lowveld, reinforcing FlySafair’s responsiveness to market trends.

FlySafair’s growing domestic network aligns with rising interest in local travel and aims to offer greater flexibility, convenience, and choice to passengers.

Expanding services to underserved or strategically important airports supports South Africa’s broader tourism and economic development initiatives.

By increasing flight options and improving access to major urban and holiday destinations, FlySafair strengthens its position as a valued regional carrier delivering tailored travel solutions.

The airline’s competitive pricing and reliable service further enhance its appeal among price-sensitive and leisure travelers alike.

This network development underscores FlySafair’s ongoing commitment to connecting communities and supporting the country’s transportation infrastructure.

With travel demand expected to grow, the airline’s strategic route additions are poised to meet evolving customer needs.

FlySafair continues to prioritize safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction as it expands its footprint across South Africa’s domestic aviation sector.
