EGYPT – Landmark Developments (LMD) is set to invest over EGP300 billion (US$6 billion) to dramatically expand its hospitality and residential portfolio, building on its current base of 1,330 hotel rooms, 1,800 serviced apartments, and more than 24,300 residential units.
Landmark Developments currently features 1,330 hotel rooms in its portfolio and is targeting significant growth in the hospitality sector.
The company also manages 1,800 serviced apartments and over 24,300 residential units, with plans to expand across Egypt’s premier destinations.
This ambitious strategy is anchored by partnerships with global brands such as W Hotels and Marriott, aiming to elevate Egypt’s profile as a luxury tourism and real estate hub.
Among the flagship projects is the W Cairo Hotel, a landmark development within the One Ninety complex in New Cairo.
With an investment exceeding US$220 million, the W Cairo is on track for structural completion by the end of 2025.
The property will introduce Marriott’s luxury W brand to Egypt for the first time, featuring a design that blends Cairo’s cultural heritage with contemporary aesthetics.
LMD’s land bank totals 8 million square meters, with 4.5 million square meters currently under active development.
The company’s latest residential launch, “Being” in New Zayed, is valued at EGP 20 billion (US$399 million) and is expected to generate EGP 25 billion (US$499 million) in sales.
These projects are designed to offer hotel-style amenities within residential communities, reflecting the evolving preferences of modern buyers and investors.
The company’s expansion extends beyond Cairo, with projects like Ghazala Bay on the North Coast and additional serviced apartments in New Cairo.
Each development is crafted to provide integrated living experiences, combining thoughtful design, sustainability, and operational excellence.
