IHG Hotels & Resorts to launch first Kimpton Hotel in UAE by Q1 2026

The hotel will feature 280 guest rooms, including a mix of standard rooms and suites, three diverse dining concepts, and seven flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom.

UAE – IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with API Hotels & Resorts to open the first Kimpton hotel in the UAE, scheduled to debut in Q1 2026.

Kimpton Dubai marks the brand’s arrival in the emirate and further strengthens IHG’s regional expansion, with over 122 hotels and nearly 44,000 rooms across the Middle East.

Kimpton, internationally renowned for its distinctive design, heartfelt hospitality, and immersive lifestyle experiences, is expanding into the UAE in response to growing demand for boutique-style, experience-led stays in the luxury hospitality sector.

With a strong global presence across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, the brand’s entry into the region marks a notable addition to Dubai’s competitive hospitality landscape.

Strategically located along the iconic Business Bay Canal, just minutes from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, Kimpton Dubai is set to become a vibrant social hub for both residents and visitors.

The hotel will feature 280 guest rooms, including a mix of standard rooms and suites, three diverse dining concepts, and seven flexible meeting spaces, including a ballroom.

Designed with wellness and leisure in mind, the property will also include a rooftop swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, curated retail spaces, and extensive parking facilities.

Staying true to Kimpton’s legacy, the culinary experiences will be central to the offering, blending innovation and quality in food and beverage.

This opening represents the second partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts and API Hotels & Resorts, following the successful launch of InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay in September 2024.

It also follows IHG’s recent signing of a management agreement with The King Abdullah Financial District Management and Development Company, an affiliate of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, to bring the Kimpton brand to Riyadh.

He described the Dubai opening as an exciting opportunity to bring Kimpton’s avant-garde energy and creativity to the UAE, in partnership with API.
