MENA – Louvre Hotels Group (LHG) has announced several new openings across the MENA region by 2026, including the much-anticipated launch of Tulip Hotels & Residences at The Village Muscat in Oman, the introduction of the Kyriad brand in Saudi Arabia, and the debut of the luxury Tempting Places Collection in Oman and Morocco.

Marking its debut in Oman, the group introduces Golden Tulip Muscat The Village and Tulip Hotels & Residences Muscat The Village.

These two new properties, with 68 and 107 keys respectively, offer a modern and upscale approach to hospitality, featuring contemporary designs and amenities tailored to both short and long-stay guests.

In addition, Golden Tulip Village Muscat will open in 2025, further strengthening the group’s presence in Oman. This expansion aligns with a larger master plan development designed to transform the city’s hospitality sector.

In Saudi Arabia, Louvre Hotels Group is expanding its Kyriad brand, with plans to launch 2,000 keys across three tiers, Kyriad Eco, Kyriad, and Kyriad Prestige.

These hotels aim to meet the rising demand for midscale hospitality, offering versatile accommodations that cater to both business and leisure travelers.

The brand’s tiered approach provides flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs of the Saudi market.

Rami A. Moukarzel, Board Member of Louvre Hotels Group, discussed the regional expansion during the Arabian Travel Market 2025, stating that the group’s goal was to provide the right hospitality solutions in response to the rapidly transforming market.

He emphasized that these expansions reflect a commitment to creating meaningful experiences for modern travelers, with a focus on purpose-driven, innovative designs that resonate with the needs of diverse market segments.

Louvre Hotels Group is also making strides in North Africa and the Levant, with nearly 2,000 keys set to open across Kyriad Le Patio in Algeria and Golden Tulip Duhok in Iraq, both slated for Q1 2026.

Additionally, the Royal Tulip Taqah Beach Resort in Oman will become the group’s first luxury beachfront destination in the country, featuring 100 keys and a blend of modern sophistication and elegance.

Further regional development includes the expansion of the group’s Tempting Places Collection, a luxury soft brand known for its boutique hotels, with openings in Oman and Morocco over the next 18 months.

This collection will focus on delivering curated, authentic stays.

The group’s portfolio currently includes 43 hotels with over 8,250 keys across multiple countries in the MENA region, with plans to expand to 200 hotels by 2030.
