TGP International partners with celebrity chef Kiran Jethwa to enhance Africa’s hospitality sector

AFRICA – African Media Agency (AMA)/–TGP International has announced a strategic partnership with acclaimed chef and entrepreneur Kiran Jethwa, marking a significant step in its ongoing investment in Africa’s burgeoning hospitality landscape.

The collaboration between TGP International and Kiran Jethwa highlights the company’s long-term commitment to elevating Africa’s culinary and tourism sectors through world-class expertise and innovation.

This partnership positions Jethwa as a key ambassador for TGP International’s initiatives in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, and across the wider African continent.

It brings together deep local knowledge and global experience to support a new era of food and beverage-driven placemaking and culinary innovation throughout the region.

Simon Wright, Founder and Chairman of TGP International, noted that the African hospitality landscape was undergoing significant evolution.

He observed a growing demand for tailored, experience-focused food and beverage solutions, and stated that Jethwa’s expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and cultural ties would play a critical role in helping TGP International meet this demand and shape the future of hospitality in the region.

His previous work with TGP includes launching Seven Seafood & Grill at Alkebulan, the world’s first African dining hall, which was conceived with Chef Alexander Smalls and unveiled during Expo 2020 Dubai.

Commenting on the partnership, Jethwa expressed his belief that Africa possesses some of the world’s most compelling food narratives.

He said that his collaboration with TGP would allow him to influence the future of African hospitality while helping to amplify the continent’s cuisine and culinary talent on a global stage.

The announcement adds to TGP’s ongoing footprint in the region, which includes its partnership with Q Coffee, a joint initiative by Bloomberg Philanthropies and Sustainable Growers that benefits women farmers in Rwanda.
