Fly-in Zambezi offers an exclusive lodge-hopping air transfer connecting premier lodges in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, including Namushasha River Villa, Zambezi Mubala Lodge, Victoria Falls, Kasane, and Maun.

NAMIBIA – Westair Aviation and Gondwana Collection Namibia have introduced Fly-in Zambezi, a boutique air service providing direct lodge-to-lodge connections across key southern African safari destinations.
Fly-in Zambezi offers an exclusive lodge-hopping air transfer connecting premier lodges in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, including Namushasha River Villa, Zambezi Mubala Lodge, Victoria Falls, Kasane, and Maun.
Travellers can choose from scheduled flights three times a week or opt for private charters, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
Operating from July to November, the Cessna Grand Caravan, based in Katima Mulilo, provides high-end safari travellers with enhanced comfort and accessibility.
The service eliminates lengthy road transfers, allowing guests to enjoy a scenic and efficient travel experience while maximizing time in some of southern Africa’s most spectacular landscapes.
Fly-in Zambezi is a 50/50 joint venture between two industry leaders, combining operational expertise from Westair Aviation with booking facilitation by Gondwana Travel Centre.
Guests can book point-to-point lodge transfers or customize their itineraries, with additional destinations available on request. Each flight accommodates four to eight passengers, ensuring an exclusive and personalized experience.
Operating on a charter-only basis, Fly-in Zambezi will run from 1 June to 30 November 2025, with flights subject to availability and weather conditions.
The initiative aligns with Gondwana Collection Namibia’s ongoing expansion strategy.
Earlier this year, Gondwana introduced The Ekipa, an all-inclusive retreat located about six miles south of Etosha National Park’s Andersson Gate.
As part of the company’s high-end Secret Collection, The Ekipa offers guests a private sanctuary within Namibia’s mopane woodlands, combining luxury with cultural heritage.
The retreat draws inspiration from the ekipa, traditional ornamental buttons worn by Namibian women, and blends cultural elements with contemporary design.
Its architecture features curved lines and textured panels reminiscent of pangolin scales, creating a striking yet harmonious presence in the landscape.
Alain Noirfalise, operational director at Gondwana Collection Namibia, noted that The Ekipa’s design reflects Namibia’s landscape, culture, and history.
He emphasized that the structure was created to feel timeless, honoring the region’s heritage while integrating seamlessly with its surroundings.
Providing both privacy and proximity to Etosha’s renowned wildlife, The Ekipa joins Gondwana’s portfolio of exclusive retreats, including Desert Whisper near Sossusvlei and The Pearls Beach Pods in Swakopmund.
