SAUDI ARABIA – Keeta has dropped its 2025 Year-in-Review, and the numbers are mouthwatering: the delivery platform processed more than 150 million orders across 23 cities last year, with burgers crowned the most popular item and fast food beating out Arabic cuisine for the top cuisine spot.
The company’s 50,000+ restaurant partners and 38,000+ riders kept the Kingdom fed with an average delivery time of just 30 minutes.
What Saudis Ordered, When They Ordered It
Fridays saw the highest order volumes, with Thursdays coming in second—no surprise as weekends kick off.
Dinner reigned as peak ordering time, followed closely by evening tea cravings.
The average basket size landed at 53 SAR (approx. US$14), proving Saudis know how to order efficiently.

Savings That Add Up
Here’s the stat that makes wallets happy: the average user saved over 400 SAR (approx. US$106) during the year, with one super-saver racking up 41,805 SAR (approx. US$11,140) in savings.
The largest single order? A whopping 4,768 SAR (approx. US$1,270) haul containing 83 items—someone was either throwing a massive party or stocking a bunker.
Ramadan, Eid, and Hajj Highlights
During the holy month, ordering patterns shifted with daily rhythms. French fries, Shawayah, and Arabic shawarma topped Ramadan menus.
The busiest single day of the year was March 29, when 315,000 orders flew through the platform.
For Eid al-Adha, shawarma claimed the top spot. During Hajj, Keeta proved its speed credentials with a 12-minute delivery to the Haram, fast enough to satisfy hunger between prayers.
Riders Cover Mind-Blowing Distance
Since launch, Keeta’s delivery heroes have collectively traveled 1,049,146,479 kilometers across the Kingdom, enough to circle the Earth over 26,000 times.
The highest single tip reached 54 SAR (approx. US$14), while one generous customer racked up 198 SAR (approx. US$53) in total tips, proving Saudis appreciate good service.
Cities to Watch
Al Kharj, Al Ahsa, and Madinah emerged as growth stars during 2025, signaling that delivery culture is spreading far beyond Riyadh and Jeddah.
With Meituan’s technology muscle behind it, Keeta shows no signs of slowing down its mission to “help people eat better, live better” across the Kingdom.
