TBK-Minor Pact launches Oaks Riyadh, NH Egypt hotel projects

The agreement was sealed at the TOURISE Summit in Riyadh last week, with Tabarak CEO Ali Al Shorbany working closely alongside Minor’s Dillip Rajakarier.

EGYPT/SAUDI ARABIA – TBK International and Minor Hotels have signed a strategic partnership agreement recently, which launches Oaks Riyadh Suites and NH Collection to be launched in Egypt.

Riyadh Hub Accelerates Vision 2030 Tourism Goals

The deal was finalized at the TOURISE Summit in Riyadh just last week. Tabarak’s CEO Ali Al Shorbany collaborated with Minor’s Dillip Rajakarier closely.

Oaks Riyadh boasts 146 premium units tailored for long-stay business travelers. Amenities feature a rooftop pool, advanced fitness center, and comprehensive health club. Retail spaces and vibrant entertainment zones will draw in local crowds too.

Phase one aims for an early 2026 launch using accelerated construction timelines. This fits seamlessly into Saudi’s ambitious 92,000-room pipeline expansion plans.

High occupancy targets reach 85 percent amid surging visitor demand. Tourism now drives toward a robust 10 percent contribution to national GDP.

Egypt’s NH Collection Transforms Mixed-Use Developments

TBK Developments smartly utilizes its expansive 4.8 million sqm land bank across Egypt. NH Collection hotels are scheduled to open by 2029 in strategic prime locations.

Designs fuse elegant European sophistication with top-tier luxury comfort levels. Prominent sites include 90 Avenue within the dynamic New Cairo district. Key of Greens provides a peaceful villa and green oasis in Sheikh Zayed.

Keystone New Cairo combines admin, medical, and entertainment hubs effectively. These developments powerfully elevate Egypt’s MICE and leisure tourism capabilities.

The sector achieves impressive 18 percent annual growth rates lately. Enhanced Nile cruise partnerships deliver richer experiences for international guests.

Minor’s Saudi-Egypt Investments Expand Rapidly Now

Minor Hotels allocated SAR 1.2 billion (about US$320 million) for Anantara AlUla resort. This stunning property opens Q2 2026 featuring 100 luxurious tents amid rock formations.

SAR 900 million (roughly US$240 million) funds the new NH Riyadh Airport hotel. It introduces 250 keys by 2027 to accommodate airport travelers efficiently.

AED 800 million (equivalent to US$218 million) backs Oaks Cairo Nile City urban suites.

US$ 150 million investment revamps Avani Sharm El Sheikh’s beachfront with MICE halls. SAR 600 million (around US$160 million) develops family-focused Tivoli Jeddah Corniche.

Q4 2025 agreements reinforce 650-project pipelines throughout the region. RevPAR delivers consistent 12 percent yields for investors. Strong FDI inflows propel further ambitious hospitality expansions.
