Americana Restaurants continued its recipe for disciplined growth, opening 216 new stores in 2025 to bring its total network to a whopping 2,749 restaurants.

MENA – Americana Restaurants International has dished out a spectacular set of financial results for 2025, serving a 14.2% increase in revenue to a record US$2.51 billion and a mouth-watering 38% surge in net profit to US$219.1 million.
The MENA region’s largest restaurant operator delivered this stellar performance through robust same-store sales growth, wider profit margins, and smart expansion across its 12 markets.
A Recipe for Operational Success and Fatter Margins
The company’s impressive revenue was fueled by a 9.7% rise in like-for-like sales, thanks to successful menu innovation, strong brand partnerships, and excellent operations.
Smart cost management and pricing discipline allowed gross profit margins to expand by 1.3%.
This operational excellence flowed directly to the bottom line, with EBITDA jumping 23.1% to US$595.6 million, achieving a healthy EBITDA margin of 23.7%.
The net profit margin also grew by 1.5 percentage points to 8.7%, showcasing the powerful profitability of its portfolio, which includes giants like KFC, Pizza Hut, and Hardee’s.
Smart Growth and a Generous Serving for Shareholders
Americana Restaurants continued its recipe for disciplined growth, opening 216 new stores in 2025 to bring its total network to a whopping 2,749 restaurants.
This expansion focused on high-return locations, with capital expenditure kept efficient at US$125.2 million.
The company enjoys a robust financial position with zero debt and generated a strong adjusted free cash flow of US$209.1 million.
Demonstrating its commitment to shareholders, the Board plans to serve up a proposed cash dividend of US$201.6 million, equating to US$0.024 per share, pending approval.
