Loop AI secures US$14M to make restaurant delivery profitable with “Agentic Co-Worker”

It processes data from multiple third-party platforms (like Uber Eats and DoorDash) to provide operators with clear insights into profitability, customer behavior, and menu performance.

INDIA – Loop AI, an enterprise AI platform designed as an “agentic co-worker” for restaurant back-office teams, has raised US$14 million in a Series A funding round led by Nyca Partners.

The investment, backed by notable industry figures, will fuel the company’s mission to help major chains turn third-party delivery from a cost center into a profitable growth channel.

Turning Delivery Data into Operational Profit

Loop AI’s platform automates complex financial and operational analytics specifically for the delivery segment.

It processes data from multiple third-party platforms (like Uber Eats and DoorDash) to provide operators with clear insights into profitability, customer behavior, and menu performance.

Co-founder and CEO Anand Tumuluru framed the opportunity starkly: “Delivery is the new drive-thru, and it is poised to fuel the next decade of growth for the restaurant industry.”

The platform aims to solve a critical industry pain point, the thin margins and obscured economics of delivery orders, by giving operators the tools to optimize pricing, promotions, and operations for off-premise sales.

Backing from Industry Leaders to Scale Impact

The funding round includes participation from investor Gokul Rajaram and firms Base10 and Afore Capital.

As part of the deal, Osama Bedier, an investment partner at Nyca and former Google and PayPal executive focused on commerce, will join Loop AI’s board.

This infusion of capital and expertise will support product development and hiring across the company’s offices in New York, San Francisco, Tampa, and Bangalore.

The company reports its business has grown sixfold since 2024 and now serves thousands of locations for major chains, including Little Caesars, McDonald’s, Whataburger, and Lazy Dog.

Proven Impact and the Future of Restaurant Operations

Client testimonials underscore the platform’s practical value. Aaron Noveshen, founder of The Culinary Edge and CEO of Starbird, stated that Loop has been instrumental in viewing third-party delivery as a profitable channel, deepening insights into customer preferences and refining service.

This positions Loop AI at the intersection of two powerful trends: the secular shift toward off-premise dining and the urgent need for back-office automation in hospitality.

By providing an “agentic co-worker,” Loop AI is not merely offering a dashboard but an active analytical layer that promises to reshape how restaurant groups manage and scale their delivery operations, directly impacting their bottom line in a highly competitive segment.
