OMAN – Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has issued a mandatory directive requiring all licensed hotels, hotel apartments, camps, guest houses, rest houses, heritage inns, and green inns to promptly update their official records through the designated online portal.

This initiative strengthens regulatory oversight, ensuring accurate data drives tourism expansion and sustainable development across the Sultanate.

Broad Coverage Ensures Comprehensive Compliance

The directive encompasses diverse lodging types, from urban hotels and extended-stay apartments to experiential camps and culturally immersive heritage inns.

Green inns highlight Oman’s commitment to eco-friendly tourism aligned with national conservation priorities.
