Fanaya reflects the vibrancy of Saudi Arabia’s creative movement within a modern hospitality framework, meeting rising demand for lifestyle destinations grounded in community and culture.

SAUDI ARABIA – Brassbell Hospitality Group has made its debut in the Saudi Arabian market with the opening of Fanaya Hotel in Jeddah, marking the first property under its new Fanaya brand.
This launch represents the beginning of a planned multi-phase expansion throughout the Kingdom, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s growing demand for culturally rooted, design-forward hospitality concepts.
Fanaya Jeddah serves as the foundation for a broader rollout of new hotel concepts tailored to the distinct cultural identities of Saudi cities.
The brand’s name derives from Arabic roots, fan and fann, symbolizing creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural expression.
Developed locally by WTL Agency, Fanaya reflects the vibrancy of Saudi Arabia’s creative movement within a modern hospitality framework, meeting rising demand for lifestyle destinations grounded in community and culture.
In parallel with the Jeddah opening, Brassbell is advancing plans for two additional Fanaya locations in Riyadh.
Other projects under consideration include design-led apart-hotels in Riyadh, a corporate and leisure hybrid lifestyle hotel in the Eastern Province, and a wellness resort in Taif that leverages the city’s natural climate and landscape.
These initiatives underscore Brassbell’s long-term commitment to diversifying Saudi Arabia’s hospitality ecosystem.
Ahmed Ibrahim, Brassbell’s CEO and Chairperson, noted, “Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest-growing hospitality markets in the Middle East. The Fanaya brand will serve as a platform for further expansion, supporting the sector’s ongoing transformation.”
He emphasized that Brassbell’s vision is to create destinations blending art, experience, and community with globally recognized operational standards while honoring local culture.
This strategic entry reflects Saudi Arabia’s national development strategies, including Vision 2030, focusing on elevating culturally attuned, lifestyle-driven hospitality offerings.
Brassbell’s culturally immersive and innovative approach is positioned to contribute significantly to the Kingdom’s evolving hospitality landscape.
Brassbell Hospitality Group’s aggressive growth strategy extends beyond its Saudi Arabia debut with Fanaya Hotel.
Over the past two years, the group has expanded its portfolio significantly, managing over 850 serviced units across Egypt and Saudi Arabia with a pipeline targeting 1,250 units by the end of 2025.
Notably, Brassbell partnered with Tatweer Misr to launch the Bay House hospitality brand in Egypt’s North Coast, emphasizing integrated urban living with upscale hospitality services.
The company also formed a strategic partnership with Belmazad to transform auctioned real estate into ready-to-operate hospitality investments, unlocking hidden value.
