Capital Elite Developments partners with Wyndham to launch US$415M Wyndham Hotels & Residences Cairo West Project

EGYPT – Capital Elite Developments has signed a management agreement with US-based Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to develop Wyndham Hotels & Residences Cairo West, a major mixed-use hospitality project with total investments of EGP 13 billion (US$415 million).

Mostafa Abdallah Gomaa Mansour, Chairperson of Capital Elite, described the partnership as a milestone in their West Cairo expansion, emphasizing Wyndham’s global hospitality management expertise.

Located in the Dreamland area near the Giza Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum, the project will include 150 hotel rooms and 450 branded residences combined within 600 units.

Construction is set to start before the end of 2026 with expected delivery by December 2029.

The development will offer over 1,500 square meters of event space, sports facilities, and extensive amenities. Engineering consultancy ACE Moharram.Bakhoum is a key project partner.

Dimitris Manikis, Wyndham’s President for Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa, noted the partnership aligns with Wyndham’s strategy to grow in North Africa, capitalizing on Egypt’s rising demand for premium accommodation and branded living.

This collaboration reflects Capital Elite’s strategic commitment to expanding hospitality and branded residences through international partnerships, boosting Egypt’s luxury tourism and real estate sectors.

Capital Elite Developments’ Wyndham Hotels & Residences Cairo West project is part of a broader resurgence of luxury hospitality investments in West Cairo.

Alongside this EGP 13 billion (US$415 million) flagship development in the Dreamland area, notable new hotel projects have been announced and initiated recently.

Accor Group has signed a deal for Mövenpick Cairo West, a 220-key hotel aimed at opening in the heart of West Cairo. Hilton is expanding aggressively in Cairo, planning to open 25 new hotels nationwide, including lifestyle brands debuting in Egypt.

Hyatt is also entering West Cairo with the Hyatt Centric brand, featuring a 283-key lifestyle hotel in the Pyramids Heights Business Park.

These developments emphasize West Cairo’s growing importance as a luxury travel hub, fueled by proximity to iconic landmarks like the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, targeting rising demand among business and leisure tourists.
