The new Bahrain venture offers comprehensive, turnkey outsourcing, covering staffing from executive housekeepers to room attendants, alongside supervision, training, supplies, and equipment.

BAHRAIN – Gulf Hotels Group (GHG), a leading hospitality company in Bahrain, has entered a joint venture with MFive Services, a UAE-based specialist in outsourced housekeeping and cleaning solutions, jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) and Metro Global.

This venture aims to set new international standards of excellence in housekeeping operations for hotels, resorts, and serviced residences in Bahrain.

Founded in 2010, MFive Services delivers outsourced housekeeping to over 60 hotels across the UAE, combining specialized staff training, operational efficiency, and scalable systems that ensure consistent quality and cost optimization.

The new Bahrain venture offers comprehensive, turnkey outsourcing, covering staffing from executive housekeepers to room attendants, alongside supervision, training, supplies, and equipment.

It operates on a pay-per-productivity model linked to occupancy, optimizing labor use and reducing fixed payroll costs.

Ahmed Janahi, CEO of GHG, emphasized that this partnership introduces innovative, cost-effective housekeeping solutions that enhance guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

MFive Services’ CEO Max Baer highlighted the scalable model’s potential to expand across the GCC, setting new regional standards.

This strategic collaboration marks a transformative step for Bahrain’s hospitality sector, aligning with GHG’s diversification strategy and reaffirming the Kingdom’s position as a premier regional hospitality hub.

The hospitality cleaning and hygiene services sector in Bahrain is experiencing significant growth due to rising tourism and heightened guest expectations.

Bahrain’s hospitality industry demands high-quality, consistent housekeeping standards to match global best practices.

The government’s focus on public health combined with the seasonal influx of international visitors has boosted the need for innovative, reliable cleaning services.

Current service providers face challenges like labor shortages, fluctuating occupancy rates, and the need for sustainable and tech-enabled solutions.

The joint venture between Gulf Hotels Group and MFive Services is significant because it introduces a fully managed, scalable housekeeping model tailored specifically for Bahrain’s market.

This model replaces fixed monthly fees with a pay-per-productivity cost structure, offering hotels better operational flexibility and cost control.

Additionally, MFive’s expertise in staff training, quality assurance, and operational efficiency positions the venture to set new benchmarks, enhancing guest satisfaction and supporting Bahrain’s vision to be a premier hospitality destination in the region.
