Arada awards US$108M contract for Rove Aljada Hotel Cluster in Sharjah Megaproject

The contract award marks another milestone in a rapidly advancing master community. Construction is underway for Arada CBD, comprising 40 commercial buildings.

UAE – Arada has awarded a construction contract valued at AED397 million (US$108 million) to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) for the Rove Aljada hotel cluster, located within the lucrative AED35 billion (US$9.54 billion) Sharjah megaproject.

The project spans four blocks including the Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences, adjacent to the emerging commercial district Arada CBD and Madar Mall.s

Construction will start immediately, with expected completion by December 2027.

The Rove Aljada hotel will feature 192 rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, co-working spaces, a 24-hour gym, and an all-day dining restaurant alongside other modern amenities.

Rove Home Aljada will include 306 branded residences and serviced apartments with one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts.

These residences boast colorful, contemporary design and exclusive access to a gym, swimming pool, café, restaurant, co-working and meeting spaces, and ground-floor retail outlets.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering world-class amenities supporting Sharjah’s transformational growth.

He highlighted Rove’s dynamic hospitality concept designed for business and leisure travelers seeking smart, connected, and design-led experiences in Sharjah.

Construction of Madar Mall, a new AED2.2 billion leisure, shopping, and dining destination designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, is also progressing near Rove Aljada.

When completed, Rove Aljada, owned by Arada and operated by Rove Hotels, will expand hospitality offerings in the community.

Additional hospitality projects include Nest Hotel, set to open by end-2025, and Vida Aljada, a four-building complex slated for Q1 2026.

Both Vida Aljada and the future Address Aljada will be owned by Arada but operated by Emaar Hospitality Group.

Already home to 20,000 residents, Aljada megaproject plans over 25,000 homes, plus retail, entertainment, sports, education, wellness, hospitality, and commercial infrastructure.

Its prime location offers easy access to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Al Dhaid Road, Sharjah International Airport, and the upcoming Etihad Rail station. Aljada is reshaping Sharjah’s urban landscape with sustainable community development.
