Diriyah secures landmark partnership with Majid Al Futtaim to elevate Diriyah Square’s lifestyle offerings

The partnership will bring a cutting-edge VOX Cinemas multiplex and a curated selection of seven top-tier lifestyle brands to Diriyah Square, enhancing the appeal of this world-class premium district in Saudi Arabia.

UAE – Diriyah Company has announced a landmark partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Holding, a leading force in communities, retail, and leisure across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.

This collaboration will introduce a state-of-the-art VOX Cinemas multiplex and a curated collection of seven premier lifestyle brands to Diriyah Square, a world-class premium district in Saudi Arabia.

Marking Majid Al Futtaim as the first major lifestyle and entertainment partner at Diriyah Square, the agreement brings together fashion, home furnishings, and beauty under one destination.

The retail outlets will span 5,534.48 sqm, while VOX Cinemas will occupy 7,632.93 sqm, totaling 13,167.41 sqm of premium space.

The partnership launches the first standalone Shiseido store in Saudi Arabia, alongside flagship stores for lululemon, Crate & Barrel, and Abercrombie & Fitch. It also includes new locations for AllSaints, CB2, and Hollister, enhancing the district’s luxury retail appeal.

Diriyah Square is part of a broader hospitality transformation, with seven luxury hotels recently breaking ground. These include Raffles, Armani, Orient Express, Baccarat, Corinthia, Fauchon L’Hotel, and Rosewood, delivering 877 rooms.

The Armani Hotel will feature a 70-room boutique property with two restaurants and a high-end spa, offering residents access to premium amenities.

Additional branded residences from Aman, Chedi, and Ritz-Carlton are also in development, creating a fully integrated luxury ecosystem.

The Chedi Residences Wadi Safar, for example, will offer 20 private villas with access to golf, equestrian, spa, and fine dining facilities.

The signing ceremony was held at Diriyah Company’s headquarters, attended by Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company, and Ahmed Galal Ismail, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Holding, alongside senior leaders from both organizations.

Inzerillo praised the collaboration, stating it reflects strong confidence in Diriyah’s vision. “This partnership is foundational in creating an unparalleled shopping and entertainment destination for residents and visitors alike,” he said.

Diriyah Square will host over 400 retail brands, luxury boutiques, and dining concepts upon completion. It sits above one of the world’s largest underground car parks, following a US$600 million (SAR 2.249 billion) construction contract awarded to Salini Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd.

As a cornerstone of Vision 2030, the broader Diriyah development is projected to contribute US$18.6 billion (SAR 70 billion) to GDP and create nearly 180,000 jobs.
