Vinpearl Joint Stock Company signs strategic MoU with South Korea’s top travel firms to enhance tourism

The agreement represents a key step in Vinpearl’s strategy to expand its footprint in South Korea while promoting Vietnam as a top global destination for South Korean tourists.

SOUTH KOREA – Vinpearl Joint Stock Company has officially signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three of South Korea’s leading travel enterprises: Hanatour, Marketing Highlands, and HKG Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Hank Golf).

This agreement marks a significant milestone in Vinpearl’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the South Korean market and enhance Vietnam’s visibility as a preferred global destination for South Korean travelers.

The MoU was signed during the Vietnam, South Korea Business Forum, an event attended by high-level officials including General Secretary To Lam of Vietnam and South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok.

The partnership aims to intensify promotional activities for Vinpearl’s offerings and Vietnamese tourism more broadly, with a shared goal of attracting five million South Korean visitors to Vietnam by the end of 2025.

Under this strategic alliance, Vinpearl and its partners will collaborate closely to develop compelling tourism products and expand their marketing reach.

The companies plan to boost distribution efforts across South Korea, ensuring a reliable and steady flow of tourists while deepening long-term business relationships.

This includes introducing Vinpearl’s premium resorts and services to over 7,500 retail travel agencies, and extending opportunities to more than 46,000 golf members to enjoy and compete at Vinpearl’s internationally accredited golf courses throughout Vietnam.

Mrs. Ngo Thi Huong, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at Vinpearl, stated, “Our collaboration with South Korea’s premier tourism enterprises is a vital step in our journey to become a leading international destination.

By leveraging Vinpearl’s exceptional infrastructure and services alongside our partners’ broad distribution network, we aim to create distinctive tourism products and firmly establish Vietnam as the top choice for South Korean travelers,” she added.

Vinpearl’s diverse product ecosystem spans key Vietnamese destinations including Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.

This partnership not only strengthens Vinpearl’s competitive position but also fosters greater cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, contributing to the development of Vietnam as a premier resort hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

Overall, the MoU sets the foundation for an expanded tourism partnership designed to drive significant visitor growth, increase brand visibility, and enhance the travel experience for South Korean tourists in Vietnam.
