McDonald’s India expands in Jharkhand with two new restaurants in Ranchi

Strategically positioned at the Mall of Ranchi and Panache 99 on Circular Road, these outlets boost citywide accessibility and meet the rising demand for quick-service dining.

INDIA – McDonald’s India (North and East) has further strengthened its presence in Jharkhand by inaugurating two new restaurants in the city of Ranchi.

These outlets are strategically located at the Mall of Ranchi and Panache 99 on Circular Road, significantly enhancing accessibility for residents across the city and catering to a growing demand for quick-service dining options.

The expansion follows McDonald’s earlier entry into Jharkhand through outlets in the cities of Dhanbad and Jamshedpur, reinforcing its commitment to deepen its footprint across the state.

Ranchi, known for its youthful energy, educational institutions, and vibrant community life, offers McDonald’s an ideal market to expand its brand presence and customer base.

Both new restaurants feature contemporary design elements, blending modern global décor with local inspirations.

Together, they provide a seating capacity of 197 and cover a combined area of 3,034 square feet.

These spacious outlets offer both dine-in and takeaway options to accommodate a diverse range of customer preferences, from students catching up with friends to families and working professionals looking for convenient meal solutions.

Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director of McDonald’s India – North and East, expressed enthusiasm about the new openings, noting Ranchi’s unique blend of tradition and youthful spirit.

He mentioned that McDonald’s aims to become a part of everyday life in the city, offering high-quality food that celebrates moments of connection, convenience, and celebration.

The restaurants are equipped with modern conveniences including self-ordering digital kiosks, table service, and guest experience leaders to assist customers throughout their visit.

The extensive menu features well-loved items like Maharaja Mac, McVeggie, McChicken, McAloo Tikki, Chicken McGrill, McCrispy Chicken, spicy burgers, wraps, French fries, beverages, and desserts, appealing to a wide variety of tastes and preferences.

This development contributes to McDonald’s India (North and East) network, which now operates close to 245 restaurants and employs over 6,000 people.

The company continues to demonstrate its commitment to local communities through initiatives such as the McDonald’s for Youth program, designed to create job opportunities for young talent, especially from underprivileged backgrounds.

The new Ranchi restaurants symbolize McDonald’s dedication to delivering a global dining experience that resonates locally, strengthening its position as a leading quick-service restaurant chain in Jharkhand and contributing positively to the region’s socio-economic development.
