G Wellness, Wyndham Hotels partner to launch Gambia’s first internationally branded resort

GAMBIA – G Wellness Company Limited, a subsidiary of MP Trading Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, to introduce the first internationally branded resort in Banjul, The Gambia.

This landmark collaboration will see the debut of the Ramada by Wyndham brand in the West African nation, marking a pivotal moment for The Gambia’s burgeoning tourism and hospitality industry.

The new Ramada Resort by Wyndham Banjul will be situated in Kotu, a well-established coastal town renowned for its scenic beaches and vibrant local markets.

Positioned approximately 22 kilometers from Banjul International Airport and about 15 kilometers from the capital city center, the resort is poised to become a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers seeking high-quality accommodations along the Atlantic coast.

Designed to offer an elevated guest experience, the resort will feature 65 elegantly furnished rooms that blend modern comfort with local charm.

Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, a stylish lounge bar, an ocean-view swimming pool, a wellness spa, and versatile meeting spaces, catering to a diverse clientele.

These amenities reflect a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality standards aligned with the globally recognized Ramada brand.

The partnership signifies a major milestone for G Wellness Company Limited and MP Trading Group, underscoring their dedication to advancing The Gambia’s tourism sector.

The country, known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, has seen steady growth in visitor numbers, with over 620,000 tourists recorded in 2019.
