MEIA – Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Yvonne Wang as the new Human Resources Lead for the Middle East, India, and Africa (MEIA) region.
With over 20 years of diverse experience in human resources across the UAE and China, Yvonne’s return to Shangri-La marks a significant milestone for the group as it strengthens its HR leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence in a highly competitive hospitality market.
Yvonne’s extensive background encompasses all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, rewards and compensation, employee engagement, organizational development, and change management.
Before rejoining Shangri-La, she served as the Global Director of Rewards at Dubai Holdings, where she played a pivotal role in the successful integration of Dubai Holdings with Nakheel and Meydan, two major entities in Dubai’s real estate and leisure sectors.
Her strategic leadership in harmonizing complex reward structures and driving organizational alignment was critical to these high-profile mergers.
Prior to her tenure at Dubai Holdings, Yvonne spent more than a decade with Shangri-La and Traders Hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
