GERMANY – Leonardo Hotels Central Europe will open the doors to Leonardo Mainz on August 1, 2025, unveiling 217 designer rooms, a vaulted cellar bar, and a wellness oasis-redefining upscale hospitality in the heart of Mainz’s vibrant Rhine-Main region.

Scheduled to welcome guests from August 1, 2025, this new property is the seventh Leonardo hotel in the economically dynamic area, underscoring the group’s commitment to strategic expansion and elevated guest experiences.

Currently undergoing an extensive renovation managed by Gloram Real Estate, Leonardo Mainz promises a blend of contemporary design and comfort tailored for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel’s interiors are crafted by renowned designer Andreas Neudahm, ensuring each of the 217 rooms and suites delivers a sophisticated retreat with modern flair.

Guests can look forward to a vibrant social scene, starting with the inviting lobby and extending to a sleek bar and a restaurant featuring a terrace for al fresco dining.

A standout highlight is the “Kasematten” bar, set in a historic vaulted cellar-offering a unique atmosphere for evening gatherings and local wine tastings.

Business travelers will find 13 flexible conference rooms spanning 225 square meters, equipped to host everything from intimate meetings to larger corporate events.

After a productive day, guests can unwind in the hotel’s wellness area, complete with a pool, two saunas, and a whirlpool-designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Location is another major draw. Leonardo Mainz sits just minutes from the city’s historic old town, placing guests within easy reach of cultural landmarks like the Citadel of Mainz, the Roman Theatre, and a vibrant mix of shops, museums, and galleries.

This central setting makes the hotel an ideal base for exploring both the city’s heritage and its contemporary attractions.

Yoram Biton, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, describes the opening as a “targeted strengthening of our position in the Rhine-Main area.”

Jan Heringa, Vice President Development, highlights the hotel’s “excellent location, multitude of opportunities, and modern fixtures” as key assets for the group’s expanding portfolio.

As Leonardo Mainz prepares to open, it signals a new era for Mainz’s hospitality scene-where refined design, top-tier amenities, and unbeatable location converge to create a standout destination for travelers seeking both luxury and local charm.
