KENYA – Tribe Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, has secured exclusive rights to offer its guests guided night safaris in Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world located within a capital city’s limits.

The exclusive night safari through Nairobi National Park offers guests a rare chance to witness Kenya’s remarkable wildlife after dark.

Located just 4.3 miles from the city center, the park covers 45.26 square miles and is home to an impressive range of animals, including lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and zebras.

It also shelters over 50 endangered black rhinos, giving it the highest density of this species in any Kenyan park, as well as elusive nocturnal creatures like aardvarks, pangolins, springhares, genet cats, jackals, and honey badgers. Of the Big Five, only elephants are absent.

The evening begins with a pickup at 4:30 p.m. from Tribe Hotel, located in Nairobi’s upscale Gigiri district.

Guests are driven to the park in about 30 minutes, where their safari begins at 5:10 p.m. Two armed Kenya Wildlife Service rangers serve as both guides and security during the experience.

Around 6:15 p.m., guests enjoy an alfresco dinner catered by Tribe’s signature Jiko restaurant, known for highlighting African flavors.

The meal is timed with the sunset, offering spectacular views of Nairobi’s skyline as it begins to twinkle in the distance.

The safari continues through the evening, ending around 9:45 p.m., with guests returning to the hotel by 10:15.

This curated experience is part of Tribe Hotel’s Chieftains Program, which features bespoke adventures for discerning travelers.

Other experiences include helicopter tours of the Great Rift Valley, Mount Longonot, Hell’s Gate National Park, and Maasai Mara, all departing from the hotel’s helipad.

Guests can also tour Kenya’s renowned coffee farms or run alongside elite marathoner and former world record holder Patrick Makau.

Tribe Hotel blends modern luxury with access to Kenya’s natural and cultural richness.

The launch of the night safari reinforces its position as a lifestyle destination for both business and leisure travelers seeking truly memorable experiences.
