UAE – Renown travel company Expedia Group has announced a series of strategic travel partnerships to expand its presence in additional Middle Eastern markets.
These partnerships include advertising, technology, and supply partnerships, as well as the launch of its Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), strengthening its B2B network in the region.
As part of its expansion efforts, Expedia TAAP, a key part of the company’s B2B network, Private Label Solutions, is launching in the UAE to meet the growing demand for travel services in the Middle East.
This platform enables travel agents to increase their earnings by offering a seamless booking experience and access to a vast range of travel options.
Agents earn commissions on total bookings and benefit from user-friendly tools, marketing materials, and more.
Expedia’s B2B network, which has been active in the region for over a decade, already includes significant partnerships with companies like Rezlive, Halalbooking, and Blackrock Technologies.
Expedia Group Media Solutions, the world’s travel media network, provides tailored advertising solutions to travel partners and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), helping them reach millions of travelers globally.
Recent collaborations to advertise Middle Eastern destinations include Experience Abu Dhabi, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
This campaign, centered on the Sunshine Pass microsite, promotes summer experiences in the emirate and runs across Expedia Group sites and social media platforms.
Similarly, Expedia has launched a campaign to promote Oman’s diverse offerings, targeting travelers from the US, UK, and the Middle East from April to September 2025.
Additionally, Jordan Tourism has leveraged Expedia’s social influencer network in the US, UK, and Italy to showcase Jordan’s rich culture and history, resulting in a 9% increase in demand and a 17% rise in revenue.
Expedia Group has also announced new technology partnerships with major airlines and hotels in the region, helping Middle Eastern partners capture more market share.
One notable partnership is with Adeera, a Saudi company, which has joined Expedia Group’s B2B distribution rates program to enhance its ability to manage hotel bookings in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, the partnership with Emirates has been expanded to integrate the airline’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) fares, products, and services, offering greater flexibility and improved booking experiences for travelers.
Rob Torres, Senior VP of Expedia Group Media Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about these partnerships, stating that they will help partners extend their reach, enhance the traveler experience, and drive growth.
