Hyatt debuts Andaz Doha, expanding its presence in Qatar

QATAR – Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Andaz Doha, marking the brand’s debut in Qatar and expanding Hyatt’s presence in the city with its fourth brand.

Situated in West Bay, just a short 20-minute drive from Hamad International Airport, Andaz Doha offers an upscale urban retreat that blends modern design with Qatari heritage.

The property features 256 guestrooms, including 32 suites and four opulent Royal Suites, along with 56 residences designed for extended stays.

Guests seeking long-term accommodations can choose from one- to three-bedroom residences, each offering a seamless blend of comfort, elegance, and access to exclusive hotel amenities.

Spanning 26 floors, the hotel’s 312 rooms, suites, and residences are meticulously designed to reflect contemporary interpretations of Qatari traditions.

Guestrooms feature expansive bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers, alongside eco-friendly amenities and curated minibars.

The residences, ranging from 1,075 to 3,230 square feet, provide walk-in wardrobes and generous living spaces, ensuring an elevated experience for long-stay guests.

Residents also enjoy full access to the hotel’s premium facilities, including the fitness center, outdoor pool, and Alara Spa, with tailored benefits available for extended-stay visitors.

Dining at Andaz Doha is an immersive journey, offering three distinct culinary concepts.

The Salt Road Doha, already welcoming guests, showcases a refined take on coastal flavors, while Mr. & Mrs. Hawker and Mumble Jungle are poised to open soon, promising dynamic and innovative dining experiences.

The hotel’s wellness and relaxation offerings are equally impressive. The 24/7 fitness center caters to guests seeking uninterrupted workout routines, while the Alara Spa provides an indulgent sanctuary with six treatment rooms, a herbal sauna, steam rooms, and multi-sensory showers.

An outdoor pool and a stylish poolside bar, set to open soon, will further enhance the leisure experience.

Adding to the hotel’s distinct identity, Andaz Doha features four unique studio spaces, each celebrating an element of Doha’s rich cultural heritage.

The Calligrapher Studio pays homage to the timeless art of Arabic script, merging traditional and modern lettering styles.

The Weaving Studio takes inspiration from the intricate “Al Sadu” technique, a centuries-old craft of spinning and knitting fabrics from natural fibers.

The Architecture Studio, designed with a neutral palette and cultural artifacts, evokes an open and creative workspace.

Meanwhile, The Navigator Studio draws from Qatar’s deep-rooted maritime legacy, with wooden floors reminiscent of the historic “Jalboot” boats used for pearl diving.
