DMCC welcomes renowned Turkish seafood restaurant Sur.Dubai to Uptown Dubai

UAE – DMCC, Dubai’s premier international business district driving global trade, has welcomed the iconic Turkish seafood restaurant Sur.Dubai to its world-class smart district, Uptown Dubai.

Sur.Dubai is the next restaurant to open in The Atrium, following the recent debut of Uptown Social. It joins a dynamic and growing F&B scene in Uptown Dubai.

The district is poised to become the city’s newest culinary hotspot due to its prime location adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Marina, and DMCC’s flagship Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

Sur.Dubai is an upscale restaurant from the renowned Istanbul-based Sur Balik collection. It introduces Mediterranean and Aegean-inspired cuisine to the heart of Dubai. The restaurant offers a vibrant coastal menu featuring fresh fish, seafood dishes, and an array of Turkish mezzes.

This combination delivers an authentic culinary experience with a modern twist. The venue showcases high-quality ingredients and creative culinary techniques.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, noted that DMCC’s Turkish community has grown to nearly 650 businesses, boosted by the UAE-Türkiye CEPA.

He said the launch of Sur.Dubai marks a significant milestone in Uptown Dubai.

The new restaurant brings a taste of the Aegean to the Turkish community and enhances the district’s culinary landscape. DMCC welcomes Sur.Dubai as its first regional restaurant, contributing to the establishment of Uptown Dubai as a premier destination for world-class dining and lifestyle.

Ahmet Serdar Korukcu, President of Dorak Holding, stated that launching Sur.Dubai in Dubai is a major milestone for the company.

He expressed excitement about expanding the concept globally by leveraging tourism expertise to enter new markets. He thanked all supporters of the journey as the company continues to push boundaries and deliver exceptional, world-class experiences.

Sur.Dubai is located in The Atrium, the culinary centerpiece of Uptown Dubai. The Atrium is a multi-storey space with open terraces overlooking the central Plaza. It offers contemporary dining and trendy, electrifying venues.

It will host six restaurants, cafes, and bars. Meanwhile, DMCC continues to drive global trade by providing dedicated industry ecosystems and world-class property solutions. These efforts help its members access some of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
