PAR Technology launches PAR OPS to streamline restaurant operations with integrated analytics, loss prevention

GLOBAL – PAR Technology has announced the launch of PAR OPS, a solution designed to transform restaurant operations by combining the back-office functionalities of PAR Data Central with Delaget’s expertise in advanced analytics and loss prevention.

The new solution has been developed to assist multi-unit operators, franchisees, and enterprise brands in streamlining operations, cutting costs, and recovering margins impacted by delivery channels.

Named PAR OPS, the platform is designed to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and solution delivery within the foodservice sector.

With a network of over 38,000 locations and more than 200 brands, PAR OPS is positioned to transform restaurant management.

According to PAR CEO Savneet Singh, the restaurant industry is constantly evolving, and the tools available to operators must evolve accordingly.

Singh emphasized that rather than introducing just another tool, the goal was to create a solution that simplifies complexities and allows operators to focus on customer service.

He noted that while the industry has invested significantly in front-of-house operations, PAR is prioritizing back-of-house improvements to ensure restaurants can adapt to ongoing changes in consumer behavior.

The platform offers a suite of features tailored to the modern food service industry. It enables operators to convert operational data into actionable insights through predictive analytics, real-time alerts, and expert support.

This minimizes manual tasks and enhances decision-making.

Additionally, costs related to food, labor, and third-party delivery can be better managed, helping businesses identify opportunities to protect and optimize their margins.

PAR OPS includes various modules, such as food and inventory management, labor management and scheduling, enterprise reporting and analytics, and loss detection and recovery.

These tools are designed to offer comprehensive solutions addressing key aspects of restaurant management.

Looking ahead to 2025, PAR OPS is set to introduce new features, including enhanced delivery data insights for tracking and analyzing third-party delivery performance.

AI-driven forecasting and chatbot support will also be added, aimed at improving sales prediction and real-time assistance.

Additionally, franchisees will gain access to customizable reports with multi-location insights, and multi-language functionality will be introduced to facilitate seamless collaboration across diverse teams.

Jason Tober, General Manager of PAR OPS, highlighted the financial challenges faced by restaurant operators, particularly in maintaining profitability amid tight margins and increasing delivery costs.

He stated that PAR OPS equips franchisees and operators with tools to analyze data more effectively, identify margin losses, and implement strategies to recover them.

By integrating delivery data with food and labor costs, the platform enables data-driven decisions that enhance competitiveness and profitability.

The transition to PAR OPS is expected to be smooth for both long-standing users of PAR Data Central and Delaget—recently acquired by PAR Technology—as well as new customers joining the PAR network.
