USA – Marriott Bonvoy has expanded its Tribute Portfolio with The Brandywine, boosting suburban Philadelphia hospitality ahead of major global events
A new chapter in suburban Philadelphia’s hospitality landscape is set to begin this spring with the opening of The Brandywine, a boutique hotel joining the fast-growing Marriott Bonvoy Tribute Portfolio.
Located in Radnor, Pennsylvania, the 121-room property marks a strategic expansion of lifestyle hospitality into one of the region’s most vibrant suburban business and leisure hubs.
Developed and owned by Brandywine Realty Trust and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, the hotel represents a key addition to the developer’s 2.1-million-square-foot mixed-use campus.
The hotel blends upscale accommodation with vibrant social spaces ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
“We are thrilled to introduce The Brandywine, a reflection of our continued commitment to our customers and the communities where we invest,” said Jerry Sweeney, President and CEO of Brandywine Realty Trust.
“By partnering with Marriott and Aimbridge, we’re delivering an upscale hospitality experience that enhances our mixed-use approach in Radnor and brings something truly distinctive to suburban Philadelphia.”
Brandywine’s guest rooms create a calm and welcoming retreat by combining timeless elegance with modern convenience. The soft color palettes, natural textures, and thoughtfully designed layouts establish just that.
As for the guest’s social engagement, Merrick’s Tavern will serve American classics alongside craft cocktails, bourbon selections, and regional brews. That is not all, as the Pomelo Rooftop Terrace will offer panoramic views, creative botanical-inspired cocktails, and globally influenced dishes. Both create a lively social hub for sunset gatherings and special occasions.
The hotel is expected to attract business travelers, university visitors, and tourists alike thanks to its ideal location near SEPTA’s regional rail network and minutes from downtown Philadelphia.
The opening could not come at a better time, as Philadelphia prepares to host major global events including the FIFA World Cup 2026, MLB All-Star Game festivities, and the 2026 PGA Championship.
With its blend of boutique charm, culinary ambition, and strategic location, The Brandywine is poised to become a centerpiece of suburban Philadelphia’s hospitality renaissance while reinforcing Marriott Bonvoy’s expanding global footprint.
