In a strategic step forward, the hotel has appointed Mohamad Daanish Khan as Director of Outside Catering, entrusting him with the responsibility of carrying its signature service beyond the property and into Dubai’s vibrant and competitive off-site events landscape.

His path to Le Méridien Dubai has been shaped by leadership roles at some of the region’s most respected hospitality brands, including Raffles The Palm Dubai, Address Hotels and Resorts, and Armani Hotel Dubai, Burj Khalifa.
Earlier in his career, he also gained valuable operational experience with Jumeirah, where he developed the foundations of his expertise in conference and event management.
Now, in his new role, he will lead the hotel’s Outside Catering division. His mission is clear: to ensure that every event, regardless of location, reflects the quality, creativity, and excellence the hotel is known for.
Speaking on the appointment, Quinten Veerman, Complex Director of Sales and Marketing at the hotel, affirmed the importance of this moment. “His leadership will help us elevate every off-site experience we deliver, from intimate celebrations to large-scale corporate events, while maintaining the creativity, precision, and service our clients expect,” he said.
There comes a time in the life of every great hotel when growth is no longer confined within its walls. A time when excellence must travel. When service must meet guests where they are, on beaches, rooftops, and in grand halls where memories are made. That time is now for Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre.
And now, with Khan at the helm, Le Méridien Dubai is not just serving guests within its walls. It is carrying its excellence outward into every celebration, every gathering, and every moment that matters.
