Swissôtel plants its flag in Cairo with major new branded residences project

The development will introduce more than 250 branded residences, setting a sparkling new standard for upscale living in Egypt.

EGYPT – Accor has revealed it is bringing its signature Swiss hospitality to Egypt’s bustling capital with the signing of Swissôtel Cairo West.

This landmark mixed-use development, created in partnership with Saoud Urban Development, will blend a 180-room hotel with over 250 branded residences, marking a significant milestone in the group’s ambitious expansion strategy across one of the region’s hottest growth markets.

A Fresh Slice of Swiss Precision in West Cairo

Nestled in one of Cairo’s most dynamic and fast-growing districts, the project is designed to satisfy the rising hunger for integrated, lifestyle-driven destinations.

The hotel itself will deliver the brand’s signature philosophy of “Crafting Pure Living“, think Swiss precision, genuine care, and a big focus on wellbeing.

Guests can look forward to three signature dining venues, a ballroom, flexible event spaces, and a full wellness haven complete with a swimming pool, state-of-the-art health club, and spa. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to help visitors recharge, reset, and feel utterly renewed.

A New Benchmark for Branded Living in Egypt

But the hotel is only half the story.

The development will introduce more than 250 branded residences, setting a sparkling new standard for upscale living in Egypt.

These aren’t just apartments; they’re thoughtfully crafted private homes wrapped in the warm, efficient embrace of world-class hospitality services.

Future residents and investors will enjoy seamless access to hotel amenities, making everyday life feel like a permanent holiday.

A curated retail component will add extra sparkle, transforming the entire site into a buzzing social and lifestyle landmark for West Cairo.

An Egyptian–Emirati Alliance with Big Ambitions

This project carries special significance.

It marks the inaugural major real estate development in Egypt for Saoud Urban Development, driven by the promising Egyptian–Emirati alliance of Chairman Mostafa Talha and CEO Sheikha Mariam Al-Qasimi.

Talha described the project as a “transformative catalyst” within their expansion strategy, proudly transferring the renowned Emirati development model, famous for its innovation, quality, and precision, into the Egyptian market.

His team deliberately chose Accor as their partner, citing “unparalleled global leadership” and a shared commitment to quality and enduring partnerships.
