Turkish Airlines renews title sponsorship for prestigious Antalya Golf Spectacle

TURKEY – Turkish Airlines has secured a three-year title sponsorship for the Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament.

Scheduled for April 30 to May 3, 2026, at Antalya’s National Golf Club within Regnum Hotels, the $2.75 million prize event caps the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing as its fifth and final leg.

Defending 2025 champion Martin Couvra returns to Türkiye’s golf haven, where the National Golf Club, pioneering Antalya’s tourism since 1994, welcomes global pros and enthusiasts to its David Feherty and David Jones-designed course.

Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi expressed pleasure in sponsoring this elite platform, emphasizing sport’s unifying force and Türkiye’s sports-tourism hub aspirations, while pledging support for national branding and welcoming worldwide guests to Antalya.

Turkish Golf Federation President Yıldırım Demirören celebrated the DP World Tour slot, crediting 2025’s revival for elevating Türkiye’s global stature.

He highlighted development for players, referees, and stakeholders, thanking National Golf Club owner Fikret Öztürk, Turkish Airlines, sponsors, Youth and Sports Ministry, and Tourism Ministry.

DP World Tour Tournament Business Director Mark Casey welcomed the extension, praising the course’s challenge and Turkish Golf Federation’s growth efforts.

National Golf Club GM Hasan Ceylan voiced pride in hosting, vowing world-class standards to spotlight Antalya’s golf prestige.

Turkish Airlines’ legacy shines: sponsoring since 2013, it drew Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose, and Rory McIlroy.
