Qatar Executive achieves fleetwide Starlink internet integration, elevating private jet connectivity

QATAR – Qatar Executive, the private aviation arm of Qatar Airways Group, has reached a significant milestone by equipping every Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft in its fleet with Starlink, the leading ultra-high-speed, low-latency satellite internet system.

This comprehensive rollout is expected to be completed by early 2026, reinforcing the company’s dedication to passenger connectivity and comfort.

Progress and Technology Integration

Currently, half of the Gulfstream G650ER jets and the entire Bombardier Global 5000 fleet operate with Starlink.

The remaining G650ER aircraft and the full Gulfstream G700 fleet are slated for in-house installations within the coming months.

This seamless integration enables passengers to enjoy ground-like internet speeds, supporting uninterrupted work, streaming, and communication while airborne.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group, highlighted the initiative as raising industry standards.

He emphasized that deploying Starlink across the ultra-long-range fleet, managed by skilled internal teams, enhances Qatar Executive’s promise of excellence, delivering an onboard experience that feels like a “home in the sky.”

This network overhaul, combined with Qatar Executive’s renowned service, sets new benchmarks in private aviation.

Enhanced connectivity bolsters collaboration and operational synergies within the Qatar Airways Group, providing exceptional comfort and efficiency for discerning clientele.

Beyond Starlink integration, Qatar Executive benefits from Qatar Airways Group’s “AI Skyways” program launched with Accenture in August 2025, revolutionizing operations through AI-driven customer personalization, predictive maintenance, and flight optimization across the network.

This initiative establishes Qatar as an AI aviation hub, enhancing efficiency and passenger experiences.

Qatar Airways completed Starlink installations on all 54 Boeing 777s by September 2025, delivering record inflight Wi-Fi speeds voted World’s Best Airline by Skytrax 2025.

Ooredoo partnership (August 2025) advances national AI, cloud, and cybersecurity infrastructure, sharing Qatar Airways’ AI expertise for real-time analytics.​
