Meliá Hotels International accelerates luxury expansion across Asia with landmark openings in 2026

With one in three new Meliá openings positioned in the luxury segment, the company is rapidly reshaping the concept of authentic, immersive luxury travel across Asia.

ASIA – Meliá Hotels International has significantly expanded its presence across Asia, unveiling a series of iconic openings planned for 2026 as part of its luxury growth strategy.

The expansion is led by the upcoming debut of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the company’s first all-inclusive resort in Asia featuring its signature Destination Inclusive® concept.

Guests can enjoy immersive experiences in Bali’s culture, nature, and wellness.

Vietnam sees major investment too, with the Meliá Serenity Cam Ranh Beach Resort opening along Long Beach in Q2 2026, designed as a sanctuary for personalized well-being.

It includes an adults-only enclave called The Reserve, Family Concierge services, a Kidsdom club for children, the Yourway club for teenagers, a water park, and modern sports facilities. Guests can also rejuvenate at the YHI Spa and enjoy a serene adults-only Level Pool.

Later in 2026, the brand will introduce Meliá Aurea Nha Trang in Vietnam, offering refined beachfront luxury alongside the iconic Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá.

Located within Ba Vi National Park near Hanoi, the resort blends French colonial and traditional Vietnamese styles and features top-tier dining concepts, an infinity pool, a spa, and direct beach and marina access.

In Laos, the Grand Luang Prabang will be rebranded under Meliá’s curated luxury portfolio, The Meliá Collection, bringing Mediterranean warmth to a UNESCO World Heritage site overlooking the Mekong River.

Meliá’s Maldives entry includes the upcoming Meliá Amilla Fushi, a resort blending understated elegance with vibrant coral reefs and some of the Maldives’ finest dive sites.

In Dubai, the Gran Meliá Dubai Jumeirah opens on Port de la Mer peninsula with a day-to-night beach club vibe, Mediterranean and Asian-inspired design, an infinity pool, full-service spa, wellness programs, and marina access.
