NIGERIA – AIBEN Investment and Properties Limited has officially launched its ultra-luxury Bourdillon Hotel in Abuja’s Gwarinpa district, marking a pivotal milestone for the region’s hospitality sector.

This US$7.5 million project exemplifies AIBEN’s commitment to raising service standards and generating economic opportunities through high-end tourism infrastructure.

Chief Executive Officer, Chief Andrew Elerewa, expressed immense pride in realizing a long-held dream and underscored Nigeria’s tourism industry as a critical future economic driver.

The hotel has already created significant employment and will contribute further government revenue via taxation.

He emphasized the government’s role in fostering a conducive business environment while urging entrepreneurs to comply with tax regimes and benefit from incentives.

Project Manager Ajayi Simeon explained that the hotel offers exceptional facilities, including a stunning suspended pool, state-of-the-art event spaces, and elegantly furnished accommodations designed for comfort and luxury.

The hotel’s design and services have been benchmarked against international standards, positioning it well on the global hospitality map.

Former FCT Council Chairman, Timothy Elerewa, praised infrastructural improvements as catalysts attracting investments like the Bourdillon Hotel.

Recognizing his son’s role in economic development, he highlighted the hotel’s current employment of over 600 staff, reflecting its socio-economic footprint.

This landmark development reinforces AIBEN’s vision of nurturing Nigeria’s tourism potential.

It complements their portfolio of similar projects that increasingly contribute to the country’s GDP and help diversify its economy through sustainable tourism growth and quality infrastructure expansion.

Recent hospitality investments in Abuja demonstrate a robust growth trajectory in the city’s luxury hotel sector.

Notably, Radisson Hotel Group is constructing two major properties: the upscale Radisson Collection Hotel & Conference Center, Abuja, featuring 249 rooms, expansive meeting spaces, and premium amenities, and the 104-room Radisson Blu Hotel in Abuja’s Central Business District, expected to open in early 2025.

These hotels aim to cater to discerning business and leisure travelers, significantly expanding Abuja’s high-end accommodation offerings.

Additionally, the iconic Transcorp Hilton Abuja continues to lead Nigeria’s luxury hospitality landscape.

Awarded Best Luxury Business Hotel in Nigeria for 2025, it combines a prime location with exceptional services tailored for corporate guests.

Abuja also welcomed the Nordic Abuja, a boutique property blending Scandinavian design with Nigerian elements, complemented by Fraser Suites Abuja, a landmark in luxury serviced apartments.
