PANAMA – Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with La Compañía Hotels & Resorts, has unveiled the Elysium Spa & Wellness House, a 22,000-square-foot wellness sanctuary designed to redefine travel in El Valle de Antón, Panama.
Located within Hotel La Compañía del Valle, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, this retreat combines artistry, sustainability, and relaxation in one of Panama’s most stunning volcanic regions.
Elysium Spa draws inspiration from ancient Roman bathhouses and the volcanic landscape.
Guests pass through arched corridors of local volcanic stone framed by carved marble, raw timber, and oxidised metals, evoking balance and connection.
Soft lighting and natural scents create a calming journey, complemented by terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding cloud forest and La India Dormida mountain.
The spa offers rituals inspired by the four elements, earth, water, air, and metal—with thermal pools, hammam-style steam rooms, and mud therapy chambers.
Treatments include Wine Therapy, Lavender Ritual, and Panama Citrus Wrap, featuring native ingredients like pomegranate, bamboo, and volcanic minerals.
Guests enjoy signature massages, from Feel Elysium to Swedish and prenatal therapies, plus exclusive access to a Himalayan salt room, aromatherapy suite, jacuzzi, and sensory deprivation pool—the spa’s centerpiece.
Hotel La Compañía del Valle, with Tuscan-inspired architecture and 72 rooms, is set within an extinct volcano crater. It includes a sculpture park with over 200 marble, bronze, granite, and wood artworks, blending art and nature.
Located two hours from Panama City, the hotel offers a tranquil escape surrounded by La India Dormida, El Gaital, and Las Tres Marías mountains.
