The new flight MK440 departs Mauritius on Wednesdays at 22:05, arriving in Perth at 09:10 the next morning, while the return flight MK441 departs Perth on Thursdays at 13:05 and arrives back in Mauritius at 17:10.

Onboard services for Air Mauritius flights MK440 and MK441 offer passengers a comfortable and enjoyable journey.

The Airbus A330neo aircraft feature spacious seating with adjustable headrests, individual entertainment screens with a wide selection of movies and music, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

This seasonal addition is set to bolster travel connectivity between the Indian Ocean and Western Australia.

The flights are operated using a mix of Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft, supporting both leisure and business travelers during the busy season.

The increased frequency is expected to facilitate greater tourism flow, boost trade links, and meet growing demand from Australian holidaymakers seeking tropical escapes.

The schedule aligns with Air Mauritius’s broader strategy to expand regional reach and strengthen its presence in key international markets.

The airline’s seasonal Perth route complements its existing services to other destinations in Africa, Europe, and Asia, contributing to Mauritius’s reputation as a global travel hub.

Passengers can enjoy competitive fares for return economy tickets from Johannesburg, with similar attractive prices from other major departure points including Nairobi and London, supporting a diverse customer base.

The airline also offers flexible booking options and seasonal promotions aimed at stimulating travel demand.

The return of this third weekly service underscores Air Mauritius’s commitment to maintaining vital air links and fueling the tourism industry at a time when regional countries are investing heavily in infrastructure and hospitality growth.

This service will not only enhance Mauritius’s attractiveness as a vacation destination but also strengthen tourism collaborations across the Indian Ocean.

As the season approaches, industry observers expect a significant boost in regional travel, with the expanded Perth flight helping to elevate Mauritius’s status as a must-visit global leisure hub during the 2025/26 winter.
