GLOBAL – DoorDash has introduced a new feature called “Going Out” on its app and platform, offering DashPass members access to restaurant reservations, in-store rewards, and exclusive offers for dine-in guests, according to a press release on September 30.
This feature is designed to make dining out more rewarding for consumers while unlocking new opportunities for restaurants to attract diners, fill tables, and build lasting guest relationships.

Diners can discover local favorites or explore new spots, book tables directly through the DoorDash app, and earn credits toward future orders.
DashPass members receive additional benefits such as exclusive tables, extra rewards, and discounted rides through partnerships like Lyft.
DoorDash’s integration of SevenRooms, the hospitality management platform it acquired earlier this year for over US$1 billion, powers the reservation booking capability.
The feature initially launches in Miami and New York, with plans to expand to more cities later this year.
Parisa Sadrzadeh, DoorDash’s Vice President of In-Store, highlighted that “Going Out” saves consumers time and money while making dining reservations easier than ever.
She stated that the feature makes DoorDash a go-to companion for exploring and enjoying local dining experiences.
