By positioning Garner Hotel Pattaya Central in a vibrant destination, IHG seeks to attract both regional travelers and international visitors who want value while still enjoying high-quality service.

THAILAND – IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the expansion of its Garner brand into Southeast Asia, with the Garner Hotel Pattaya Central set to open later this year.
This debut marks a crucial milestone for the midscale brand’s growth in the region.
The Pattaya hotel is being developed in collaboration with Nova Park Company Limited, a trusted IHG partner and prominent developer in the city.
The property will offer 153 well-appointed rooms and suites along Thailand’s scenic east coast.
Guests will enjoy a range of facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, and unique DIY laundry amenities.
These features cater to both leisure and business travellers, providing convenience and comfort in a vibrant coastal setting.
Pattaya itself is a key tourism hub, located about one hour by road from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
The city is known for its lively beaches, diverse culinary scene, and popular shopping districts, attracting millions of visitors annually.
This new Garner hotel will be IHG’s fourth property in Pattaya, joining the established InterContinental Pattaya Resort, Holiday Inn Pattaya, and Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central.
The addition strengthens IHG’s footprint in a competitive market.
Since its 2023 launch, the Garner brand has expanded rapidly, with 51 operating hotels in countries including Japan, the United States, and Germany. Another 87 properties are currently planned or under development worldwide.
IHG’s introduction of Garner in Southeast Asia aligns with its strategy to bolster the midscale segment by targeting markets with growing demand for quality, affordable accommodations.
Market trends in Southeast Asia favour swift hotel conversions, which accounted for over a third of IHG’s signings and roughly a quarter of its openings in the first half of 2025.
This approach accelerates market entry and leverages existing infrastructures.
IHG’s growing Garner portfolio highlights the company’s agility in adapting to evolving guest preferences and the changing hospitality landscape across key global markets.
By situating Garner Hotel Pattaya Central in a dynamic destination, IHG aims to capture both regional travellers and international tourists seeking value without compromising on service quality.
The new property embodies IHG’s commitment to expand strategically, enhance guest experiences, and meet surging demand in Southeast Asia’s flourishing hotel market.
This launch solidifies Garner’s promise as a vibrant brand that supports IHG’s vision of sustained growth and innovation in the midscale hotel category.
