Kempinski’s new luxury hotel on Congo River sets a majestic waterfront standard in Brazzaville

The project is led by OREG Real Estate Group, with architectural design by UAE-based Dewan Architects + Engineers and HCC serving as the main contractor.

CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE – In early December, President Denis Sassou-Nguesso will inaugurate the Kempinski Hotel, a landmark luxury development gracing the banks of the Congo River in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.

This prestigious project joins the city’s expanding hospitality landscape just a year after the Hilton’s arrival, enhancing Brazzaville’s appeal as a refined travel destination.

Occupying 38,000 square meters along Amilcar Cabral Avenue, the five-star Kempinski Hotel boasts 225 elegantly designed guestrooms and suites.

Each room features warm contemporary decor and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto overhanging balconies, delivering spectacular panoramic views of the Congo River and Abu Dhabi skyline, fully embracing the waterfront setting.

The building’s architectural design artfully combines vertical and horizontal elements, creating a compelling form that breaks away from monotony.

The hotel’s lower podium overlooking the marina is home to an array of leisure facilities, including a health club with a gym, luxurious spa, tennis courts, and outdoor swimming pools, offering guests a holistic wellness experience.

Nestled along the riverfront, the hotel’s dining venues and kids club are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens characterized by clean, geometric lines that optimize space and enable future expansion.

The outdoor environment reflects meticulous design that harmonizes nature with refined urban living.

Also featured in the Kempinski complex are a vibrant casino and nightclub, providing entertainment options for guests seeking nightlife excitement.

The development thoughtfully incorporates staff accommodations and additional amenities to ensure seamless operations behind the scenes.

The project is spearheaded by OREG Real Estate Group, featuring architectural expertise from Dewan Architects + Engineers of the UAE, with HCC appointed as the main contractor.

Safety consultant Locke Carey played a critical role in fire safety planning, while interior design specialists B&A and Intercon crafted the sumptuous interiors that blend modern elegance with cultural touches.

Despite its completion target in mid-2022, the hotel’s upcoming inauguration marks a new chapter for Brazzaville’s hospitality sector, setting an impressive benchmark for luxury riverfront living in central Africa.

By seamlessly merging world-class design with the breathtaking Congo River setting, the Kempinski Hotel elevates Brazzaville’s profile, boosting tourism and economic development potential in the region.

This impressive waterfront residence not only redefines luxury accommodation but also signifies the city’s dynamic growth and ambition on the African hospitality stage.
