Nakheel awards US$709M contract to Fibrex for luxury Bay Villas Project at Dubai Islands

UAE – Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a contract worth AED 2.6 billion (US$709 million) to Fibrex Contracting L.L.C. for the construction of the prestigious Bay Villas project at Dubai Islands.

This newest waterfront community will feature 636 luxury residential units across five distinct property types: Townhouses, Semi-detached Villas, Garden Villas, Waterfront Villas, and Beachfront Villas.

Building on its successful partnership with Fibrex Contracting, who previously collaborated on the District One West community in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City (MBRAMC), Nakheel is set to redefine luxury living at Dubai Islands.

The residences will blend contemporary design with cultural elements, incorporating wooden finishes and arabesque detailing that highlight Dubai’s heritage while capturing abundant natural light and sweeping waterfront views.

The Beachfront Villas will be expansive three-story homes, offering six bedrooms, open-plan show kitchens, rooftop lounges, large terraces, and dedicated dining areas, all situated on generous plots.

Waterfront Villas promise uninterrupted Arabian Gulf vistas, while Garden Villas provide tranquil spaces surrounded by lush greenery.

Semi-detached Villas foster close-knit community living, and Townhouses are grouped in clusters of four to six residences, each with private gardens.
