MENA – Foodics, the MENA region’s leading restaurant operations and payment technology company, has marked a significant milestone with the launch of its first-ever event in the UAE, “The F&B Circle.”
Held in collaboration with the Fast Food & Cafe Convention (FFCC) on June 25, 2025, at Warehouse Four in Al Quoz, Dubai, the inaugural edition was themed “The Control Room.”
The event explored how data, systems, and leadership can empower scalable brands and shape the future of the region’s fast-evolving F&B ecosystem.
The gathering brought together a select group of industry founders, executives, and thought leaders for a day of insightful discussions and networking.
Central to the agenda was the official unveiling of ‘Foodics BI’ (Business Intelligence), an advanced AI-powered solution designed to enable restaurant operators to make faster and smarter data-driven decisions.

Belal Zahran, Foodics International Managing Director (Egypt & UAE), opened the event by highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the UAE’s dynamic F&B sector.
He noted that the aim was to create a space for industry leaders to connect, share practical experiences, and learn from one another, emphasizing that Foodics’ mission is to help restaurants harness the power of technology to drive sustainable growth.
A highlight of “The F&B Circle” was a panel featuring Saleh Al Samadi (Al Samadi Group), Santosh D’Souza (Tigrus Restaurant Holding), and Karim Chaanine (PJP Investment Group), moderated by Akhilesh Bahl of Malt & Salt Hospitality.
The panelists discussed the challenges of scaling restaurant brands, stressing the importance of consistent quality, robust systems, and authentic leadership in building lasting success.
Another key session featured a fireside chat with Celebrity Chef Ali Yazdi (Aleez Hospitality) and Hayder Nashie (Dash Hospitality Group), who offered candid insights on entrepreneurship, the realities of launching new concepts, and the value of patience and perseverance in the F&B industry.
The event concluded with a networking session, giving attendees the chance to forge new connections and explore potential collaborations.
