QDOBA opens 800th restaurant in North Miami Beach, sets sights on doubling U.S. footprint by 2032

QDOBA’s expansion is supported by a flexible franchise model that appeals to both experienced operators and new entrepreneurs.

USA – QDOBA, the popular fast-casual Mexican restaurant franchise, has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its 800th location at 14583 Biscayne Blvd in North Miami Beach, Florida.

This new restaurant marks a pivotal step in QDOBA’s ambitious plan to expand its presence to 1,600 restaurants across the United States by 2032.

The North Miami Beach outlet is part of a broader growth strategy that includes more than 500 future restaurants currently in QDOBA’s development pipeline.

The company is targeting expansion in key states such as Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

This approach is designed to strengthen QDOBA’s footprint in both established and emerging markets, catering to a growing demand for fresh, customizable Mexican cuisine.

Founded in 1995, QDOBA has become known for its made-to-order burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas, featuring a variety of fresh ingredients and signature toppings like three-cheese queso and hand-crafted guacamole, always included at no extra charge.

The brand’s commitment to quality, value, and customer choice has fueled its popularity and helped it stand out in the competitive fast-casual sector.

QDOBA’s expansion is supported by a flexible franchise model that appeals to both experienced operators and new entrepreneurs.

The company has seen a surge in franchise interest, adding nearly 20 new partners over the past two years.

This growth has been further boosted by digital innovation, including online ordering, delivery, and a robust loyalty program, all of which have enhanced convenience and customer engagement.

CEO John Cywinski highlighted the significance of this milestone, stating, “The opening of our 800th restaurant is a testament to the hard work of our franchisees and team members. We are excited to bring QDOBA’s bold flavors to even more communities as we continue our journey toward 1,600 locations.

With its strong brand identity, loyal customer base, and clear roadmap for future growth, QDOBA is well-positioned to double its U.S. presence over the next seven years, solidifying its status as a leader in the fast-casual Mexican dining segment.
