Valor Hospitality Partners enters West Africa with two major hotel management contracts in Nigeria, Senegal

WEST AFRICA – Valor Hospitality Partners, a global leader in full-service hospitality management, has announced its entry into the West African market with the signing of two new hotel management contracts, one in Nigeria and one in Senegal.

The agreements, unveiled during the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) in Cape Town, represent a combined investment exceeding ZAR540 million (US$30 million), underscoring Valor’s commitment to expanding its African footprint and supporting the region’s dynamic hospitality sector.

These landmark deals mark Valor’s debut in West Africa and involve franchise partnerships with IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s foremost hospitality companies.

Under the new agreements, Valor will manage the upcoming Holiday Inn SD City in Dakar, Senegal, and a new Crowne Plaza hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

Both properties are new-build developments, reflecting a significant capital infusion aimed at elevating hospitality standards and meeting the growing demand for international-quality accommodation in these vibrant cities.

The Holiday Inn SD City in Dakar is set to bring IHG’s trusted midscale brand to Senegal’s capital, offering contemporary amenities and a welcoming environment for both business and leisure travelers.

Meanwhile, the Crowne Plaza in Lagos will introduce a premium hospitality experience to Nigeria’s commercial hub, catering to the needs of discerning guests seeking upscale accommodation, meeting facilities, and world-class service.

Valor’s expansion into West Africa complements its existing portfolio across Central, East, and Southern Africa, further strengthening its strategic relationship with IHG globally.

The new signings highlight Valor’s ability to deliver operational excellence and brand consistency across diverse markets, while also adapting to local cultures and business environments.
