The funding round attracted participation from returning investors including Sam and Max Altman, Pelion Venture Partners, Outlander, and SNR, alongside new investors such as Offline Ventures, DeepWater, and Ryan Graves, CEO of Saltwater and former Uber senior vice president.

USA – Coco Robotics has announced that it has raised US$80 million in financing to accelerate the growth of its autonomous delivery fleet, enhance enterprise partnerships, and advance its artificial intelligence platform.
The Los Angeles-based delivery robotics company plans to use the funding to scale operations and expand its presence in major U.S. cities and internationally.
Since launching in 2020, Coco Robotics has completed over 500,000 zero-emission deliveries across urban centers including Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Helsinki.
The company partners with leading food delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, enabling efficient, eco-friendly last-mile deliveries.
DoorDash began collaborating with Coco in April to serve 600 merchants in Los Angeles and Chicago, with a pilot phase targeting more than 100,000 deliveries in Los Angeles alone.
Uber Eats initially partnered with Coco in Los Angeles in 2024 before expanding the service to Miami in early 2025.
The recent funding round attracted participation from returning investors including Sam and Max Altman, Pelion Venture Partners, Outlander, and SNR, alongside new investors such as Offline Ventures, DeepWater, and Ryan Graves, CEO of Saltwater and former Uber senior vice president.
This investment brings Coco’s total capital raised to over US$120 million.
Coco Robotics CEO and co-founder Zach Rash explained that the company has deliberately built a business model based on unit economics that work today, rather than relying on future technological advances.
He highlighted that the funding will enable faster progress in advancing their AI platform and expanding their fleet globally.
The company is on track to deploy 10,000 autonomous delivery vehicles by 2026, aiming to become the world’s largest autonomous delivery service.
Coco’s electric delivery robots, roughly the size of coolers, are designed for small orders and short trips that are less cost-effective for traditional drivers.
The robots can carry up to 90 liters of goods, significantly reducing emissions and traffic congestion in urban areas.
The company’s AI system, developed in partnership with OpenAI, helps the robots navigate obstacles and make real-time decisions during deliveries.
This latest capital infusion will support Coco Robotics’ continued expansion into new markets while enhancing the technology that powers its fleet, reinforcing its position at the forefront of sustainable, autonomous urban logistics.
