The upcoming Andaz Nagoya will be a key feature of a transformative redevelopment project centered around Meitetsu Nagoya Station, designed to create a new urban landmark integrating a next-generation high-speed rail terminal and a vibrant mixed-use complex.

JAPAN – An affiliate of Hyatt Hotels has entered into a management agreement with Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd. to introduce the first Andaz hotel in Nagoya, Japan, with an anticipated opening date beyond the year 2034.

This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in Nagoya’s urban redevelopment efforts and expands Hyatt’s footprint within the Japanese luxury lifestyle hotel segment.

The upcoming Andaz Nagoya will be a key feature of a transformative redevelopment project centered around Meitetsu Nagoya Station, designed to create a new urban landmark integrating a next-generation high-speed rail terminal and a vibrant mixed-use complex.

This initiative aims to revitalize the area into a premier metropolitan hub, blending modern infrastructure, commercial spaces, and lifestyle facilities that appeal to both residents and visitors.

Located within this multi-use urban complex, Andaz Nagoya will occupy floors 25 through 29, offering approximately 150 guest rooms and suites.

The hotel will feature a dedicated street-level entrance providing seamless access from the newly developed railway station, enhancing convenience for travelers.

The design will blend contemporary aesthetics with traditional Japanese influences to deliver a sophisticated and immersive guest experience.

Amenities at Andaz Nagoya will include multiple dining venues, a rooftop bar with panoramic city views, vibrant lounges, extensive meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and a full-service spa.

These offerings position the hotel as a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers.

Nagoya Railroad President Hiroki Takasaki emphasized the project’s vision, “Our goal is to create a vibrant, people-centered destination that connects diverse communities.”

“As a lifestyle luxury hotel embracing local culture and high-quality experiences, Andaz Nagoya will become a symbolic presence that enhances the city’s appeal and supports its growth as an international city.

Situated on Japan’s iconic ‘Golden Route’ between Tokyo and Osaka, Nagoya is a major metropolitan area known for cultural heritage sites such as Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Shrine.

The addition of Andaz Nagoya complements Hyatt’s expanding portfolio in Japan, which includes properties like Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills and the recently opened Andaz Miami Beach.

This collaboration marks Hyatt’s first management partnership with Nagoya Railroad and reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering culturally resonant, luxury lifestyle hospitality experiences in key global markets.

The hotel is expected to become a landmark destination that embodies innovation, design excellence, and local authenticity in Nagoya’s evolving urban landscape.
